Develop Better Leaders From the Inside Out
Every interaction a leader has, every decision they make, and every behavior they demonstrate is influenced by something deeper - their thought patterns, innate personality traits, beliefs, and life experiences. By understanding these underlying drivers, leaders can intentionally develop new ways of thinking, communicating, behaving, and leading.
My name is Chris Sena, and I founded my coaching practice on a simple belief: lasting leadership development happens from the inside out. Drawing on my experience as a former Fortune 15 Human Resources executive and entrepreneur, I partner with leaders to understand the drivers that shape how they think, communicate, make decisions, and lead - and translate that insight into practical leadership behaviors that are tailored to the leader's business and organizaitonal context.
My Approach
Step 1: Discover What Matters Most
Every coaching engagement begins with understanding the business, the leader, and the organizational context. Through thoughtful conversations, stakeholder feedback, and assessment data, we identify the leadership challenges that matter most, the outcomes the organization is seeking, and the underlying patterns that influence how the leader thinks, communicates, makes decisions, and leads.
Step 2: Design Practical Strategies
Together, we develop practical, actionable strategies that align with the leader's strengths, organizational expectations, and business goals. Every coaching engagement is tailored to the individual while supporting the broader needs of the organization.
Step 3: Apply and Refine
Leadership development happens through application. As leaders navigate real business situations, we reflect on successes, learn from challenges, and continually refine behaviors to strengthen leadership effectiveness and organizational impact.
Step 4: Sustain Lasting Change
Sustainable leadership development requires accountability, feedback, and continued practice. My role is to challenge thinking, provide objective perspective, and help leaders build lasting behaviors that strengthen both individual effectiveness and organizational success.
Services
-
Helping experienced leaders strengthen their influence, navigate complexity, and become more effective in how they communicate, make decisions, and lead others.
Executive coaching is designed for leaders who want to strengthen their leadership effectiveness, navigate complex challenges, improve relationships, and maximize their impact. Helping leaders successfully step into greater responsibility.
The skills that made you successful in your current role aren't always the skills required at the next level. Transition coaching prepares leaders for increased responsibility by strengthening executive presence, strategic thinking, communication, influence, and confidence while navigating the expectations of a new leadership role.
-
Helping newly hired or promoted leaders build momentum from day one.
The first few months in a new role are critical. Onboarding coaching helps leaders establish credibility, build key relationships, understand organizational dynamics, and prioritize early wins. The goal is to accelerate integration, reduce transition risk, and position leaders for long-term success.
-
Guiding leaders in navigating career decisions, positioning themselves for what's next, and accelerating their long-term success.
Whether you're pursuing your next leadership role, evaluating career opportunities, or preparing for greater responsibility, career coaching provides the strategy and perspective needed to make confident decisions. Drawing on my experience as a former Fortune 15 Human Resources executive and executive recruiter, I help leaders assess their strengths, identify development opportunities, understand the expectations of the next level, and create a clear plan to achieve their career goals.
